here's a nother rant:
i was just thinking, a month ago my cousin asks me if i want to go to spain with him from may to june, i was like "hell yes!" i had it all planned out and everything, i'd be there till june, come back and take classes from june-july and relax in august till school starts again. the travel costs would be covered because my dad is a pilot for delta, and i had plenty of money to spend for a month in spain. then...i got a job.
lowe's hires me and refuses to give me the time off, for some reason i believed them when they said "you need to think about your priorities, and lowes should be your first priority." i mean seriously! i took that bull s h i t and ate it up like it was some kind of word of wisdom. thats not like me, usually in the same situation i'd tell them to stick their priorities up their a s s. so i tell my cousin i cant go, and he takes his sister instead.
right now i could be skateboarding in spain and hitting on girls that have sexy accents, instead im stuck in utah working for a fascist corporation for $8 an hour, the only chance of a raise will be in 90 day's, and i dont plan on being there more than 60. not to mention the fact that they want me to close every friday, saturday, and sunday for the rest of the summer!! god, can't a 19 year old have a life anymore? i need a job where i can make my own schedule, do everything my way, and it pays handsomly. i'd probably deal drugs if it wasnt for that whole "illegal" and "getting arrested" thing.
