I am looking at ~10k budget tops. I don't want to spend more than that, but I have come down to a few choices...

I want either a) cheap, but nice daily that I can drive forever and get crazy good gas mileage. b) Something AWD. or c) a tuck to haul toys and shiz.

I am thinking 06+ Civic (this would cost me ~12k), some sort of truck (want lower miles, and one that won't break on my a s s for a LONG a s s time), or a WRX wagon. My friend has a 02 WRX wagon w/ 86k for 7,500 I am thinking of getting, but am not sure yet.

Anyone have any ideas? HAS to be reliable, HAS to be able to seat/haul a decent amount. This means either a truck or at least 4 door.

I love my old Toyota pickup. I bought it for the same reason... something cheap and reliable and good gas mileage. Mine's older, like an 89 I think. Paid the kid $1,000 cash. Had it for almost two years now and haven't had a single problem.

If you want to haul, I'd say a semi-new/old Toyota pickup. We have the G35 and it's a 4 door. 4 doors just don't help at all with the hauling concept. If hauling wasn't a factor than I'd say an early 200X'ish Civic.

Cant go wrong, they go for dirt cheap and are reliable.

I have ended up w/ a red 02 WRX wagon. 86k origional, dead stock. Adult owned. 7200.

I have a neighbor selling his WRX. Needs new front window and has a couple door dings and what-not. It's silver. I think he's hurting for money and wants to sell it pretty bad. Might be able to get that for cheap.

Asked him yesterday and he say sit books for $18K and he's asking $15K. Only saw him for a sec. Didn't get to ask what year and everything.

Why resize? People still running 1024x768? Bigger pics = better detail.
