some people write HTML formats in a way so that they are only compatable with a certain browser. IE: Internet explorer, Netscape, etc etc. Perhaps thats the case. The majority of people (im guessing) that access this site, typically use PC's as opposed to macs. and at times writing the HTML for all browsers can kinda be a pain....

I've noticed that it takes a while sometimes too.  It's because Mac IE tries to call a bunch of shiz and load it before it will even open the page.

Do you get any errors or does it just sit forever?  Thanks for letting me know it's not just me.  I will see if I can find out what's up.

it will load about halfway then if i hit stop it comes up just fine, but when i try to enter any forum like general discussion or garage, etc.. it doesnt even load, it just sits there with a blank screen and say it's loaded, if try to reload it, it does the same thing, and sometimes if i try to leave the site while it's doing this it does the same thing with the other site. again, ive tried this on about 6-7 different macs, so it has to be something with the site.

BTW the site works fine, its just the forums that's having problems.

I'm working on a fix.  I believe I fixed the home forum page loading.  You can click in posts now too.  I just have to figure out why you can't enter categories yet.  :)  Let me know if it fixed the initial page load.

I'm assuming you are on a Mac also?  I don't have a Mac so it's hard for me to troubleshoot.  On the weekends I have access to a Mac.  Kinda' sucks.  Do either of you have any idea about how long this started happening.  I'm assuming it's one of the features that I have added that is interfering.  If you have a guess on when it started I can go back and look at the things I installed around that time and uninstall them to try and fix it.

it's been going on for quite a while. i think the first time i noticed it was around the middle or end of september, i just always figured it was a temporary thing and would be fixed so i didnt say anything for a while.

September 21st sound about right?  I'm pretty sure I know which feature it is now.  I only have access to a Mac on the weekends and I'm gone this weekend.  I will mess around with it the following weekend I return.  Atleast we have it narrowed down now

yes, actually september first does sound very close to the time that i noticed it.  FYI, the main page doesnt load anymore, it's just a black screen. and everything on the forums works fine except for the catagories.

Now that I'm back from the little vacation I will mess with the fix for the categories.

the main page doesnt load anymore, it's just a black screen

How long ago did that start?  I just changed something back when I saw you put that.  Is it fixed now?
