I thought I'd get the word out so you guys can make plans to be there if you want. A couple of us over at www.autopia.org decided it would be fun if we had a cross club meet with a few other sites. Elite Rides is definitely welcome to come if you would like to. We are going to have a Show and Shine competiton where the points will be awarded on detailing rather than modification. Autopians are held to a higher standard of car care than the average joe.

we will have some sweet stuff to give away that has been offered to us by our sponsors. If you have the afternoon of the 20th of September available then keep it open. More details will be posted later as to location and exact time. We have a spot reserved at Sugarhouse park for the event so its going to be there. BE THERE BE THERE!

Seriously though, I hope to see some of ya come out to see it. It will be a good time I think. If anyone would like to help organize then shoot me an email and you are most welcome to help out. There will probably be freebies in it for whoever wants to help out.

I work for Strong Porsche-Audi. It's a pretty sweet gig. Close to the U, pays pretty well and the cars are to die for.

Hey, does anyone know the number for Speed Tech? Do you think Ricky might want to come and show the Civic there? It is going to be a nice show and a good chance to get the word out about the shop.

South side of Sugarhouse park starting at 3:00, k guys? You can start showing up anytime after 2 I would imagine. The people before us only have the area till noon or 1. There is shade and grass and all kinds of space. It won't be a cooker out there today either. I've had over $1000 worth of things donated to us by our sponsors for prizes for the winners and for people who enter the show. Next year we'll have more that we can raffle off, but this time its a winners and entry type thing. The first 30 people who enter will get something that you aren't going to get at Checker though. It'll be good. I hope to see you all there! Call me if you get lost or anything. 671-4476

I just got back about an hour ago and there was a really good turnout. The Integras, VW's, and BMW's definately represented with defined turnouts. Good job on runnin' the show Jngrbrdman.

Plus, got a new S2000 for the next featured ER ride.

That was a much better turnout than I had thought it would be. A couple things kind of sucked because some people who were to provide entertainment and refreshment flaked out on me at about 30 minutes past the last second. Grrrrrr..... Still, it was a great turnout. I can't wait for next year. We may just have to combine with Elite rides and use some of my sponsor power and EricZ's promotion power and just have an off the hook event. It would be totally cool.

I would totally be down. Let's count on that. We have been talking about doing a joint venture with another group for next year's show.

The tentative date for next year's ER show is Saturday, July 17, 2004. I would definately be interested.

Hey Jared.... What did you use on your hoses under the hood? Those were crazy shiney!! I want that on mine. Mine were dull and blah in comparison. Your car was looking mighty fine at that show. It wasn't hard deeming you as the winner early on practicly. You were a good car length ahead of second place.

Here are some pictures I uploaded. Forgive the glow. Its a stupid fingerprint on the lens. I put pictures of our Audi we did the half and half treatment on. We wanted to have a car they were allowed to touch and feel so they could see some of the possibilities. Here are some other threads around with pics of the event.
