I bought damons old civic with a thrown rod and bent valves few other problems. here are some pictures of putting the motor together and the final product. hope you enjoy it as much as i did..

This is the head, block and other random parts out and ready for the rebuild.

This is a picture of the block with new piston and piston rings and main bearings and crank bearings.

I had pro machine go a little bigger bore and hone.

Head has new valve guides and the valves were re-seated, 3 angle valve job and resurfaced.

This is the block with some more stuff but on.

New timing belt.

Head studs and head gasket(copper sprayed) head now installed.

Making sure the flywheel bolts are at the specs.

Now the pressure plate and clutch installed with an alignment tool.

Car is now running and has about 400 miles on the motor.

allen doesnt drive a car that doesnt have a turbo.

Update on the 2000 civic. I put headers and a cold air intake on the car. I was driving it around centerville and a friend of mine told me he wanted my car so bad. I said its not for sale sorry. All i can say is money talks this offer was to good to pass. I bought a 1999 gsr thats is very clean and is a great daily. I wish i would have snapped some pictures with the new headers and intake. Motor had 1,700 miles on it and running perfectly with the stock injectors and some new tires. Jeff posted some pictures of my new daily and updates on my race car. So more updates to come on my race car pictures too. i have no pictures with the new exhaust turbine housing i bought a un-divided housing to go with my full-race top mount (un-divided also)
