So I finally pulled my whole rear end apart and found out what was keeping the right side compressed down...

Somehow I managed to get a section of the rear drive shaft (a spline) to break and possibly weld it self together, thus keep it from being able to extend and contract (which it needs to do)

My question is to everyone, how would I go abouts getting this thing apart? It's supposed to just be able to gently pull off, but like I said I've some how got it to break and i'm guessing weld itself together. I don't want to cut any parts because cutting anything would mean buying basically a new rear drive shaft and paying Polaris to do the labor (MUCHO BUCKS!)

any ideas?

If its welded together your most likely going to have to get a new rear axle anyway... sorry B Ry
