Sleeve or post the cylinders??
« on: 09:09PM 08/24/2003 »
For my b20/vtec build up I have read about posting the cylinders. Since I dont plan on boosting this thing anytime soon should I just post the cylinders instead of sleeving the block? One benefit would be around 900 dollars in savings. The cons would be more likely to not be reliable.  I could use the 900 to finish the build up and have a running motor in less time. Or I could wait a little longer and have a bullet proof motor that is built for 11's if I go turbo eventually.

Plan big.  The speed wears off and before long you'll need another fix.   ;D

Do be realistic though.  Be honest with yourself, and if you don't forsee actually being able to afford an 11 second car, then don't waste the money on supporting mods that will never be taken advantage of.
