Okay, I've been thinking about doing a few changes to the teg. Up first possibily the spoiler.

The current one (the first pic), or the Type R spoiler?

I have always liked the OEM set up. But with your kit I like the wing you currently have,

That is tough. I love the Type R spoiler. but overlord is right. with your body kit the wings west one you have flows a little better with it. It is wings west right? But i still think the Type R would look good with it too. tough decision here.

Yes, the kit is a wings west kit, and the spoiler is too.

In my honnest opinion, I think the wings west looks out dated and ricey. The type r wing will still match your body kit, its just alot more conservitive.

Definitely the Type R wing........The other one is way rice. Please tell me you don't have Altezzas on it....I hate those taillights....I'm proud to say I have never ever owned them.

What year is your lightning? They were stock with Altezza's in the later years.
I like the Type R better, but don't know how it will work with the body kit.

I think people are a little obsessed with rice....
The type r wing on a non type has been considered rice for as long as I have been in the acura arena. I really think that the type r wing will not look as good on your car. I think the money would be better spent on a JDM front end.

I've always likes the stock look on cars. I RARELY have liked the look of ANY body changes.. When they make a car everything matches and flows.. The typeR wing was a stock item and i think that it fits the car. The one that is on it now is pretty cool but if i had never seen a teg before i would not think that it shoud be there... As if it stands out and does not belong. I say look into a typeR, just dont try to pull it off as one and you will be fine. IMO its one thing to have another or even better models options.. that is fine with me but if you try to pull it off as one i think that its just bull s h i t.

I'd never try to claim that the car is a Type R. I may have to look at the JDM front end.

Well, that won't work since my CF hood will be here tomorrow. I don't think it will fit the JDM front end.

The way I always look at these choices is this.

Option A Keep what I have!
Option B Sell what I have buy new!

A Deal with no one
B Deal with seller, painter, installation, selling old spoiler, etc

A will cost nothing
B will cost money

A I like what I have
B Am I changing just for the sake of change or do I really like B

A I am happy with what I have
B I may or may not be happy with B

I haven't got the lightning yet.....I still haven't found one that I am willing to pay for. I know I changed my name but I'm more SVT than R/T now so I had to. But I'm gonna be getting a 2002 and yes it does come with Altezzas but the first thing I will be doing is changing those to the old taillights that are all red. And that will be the only body mod I will do.

I would like to make the teg look more like a sleeper, but the other half likes the body kit that's on the car right now. She did let me get the CF hood though (finally).
