I bought the muffler from a friend who, I believe, hot-cut the exhaust behind it.  So, I took the exhaust to a local shop and had them weld a new cat-back to it.  Sounds great.  Doesn't sound "ricey" at all.  Has a nice consistent "throaty" sound with no annoying crackles or high-pitches.  It added a noticeable increase in pull with the turbo too.
