Hello,
My question is I just bought a used 2002 Eclipse and I want to do some things to it. I would like the engine to sound louder/ but not one of thoes loud annoying exhaust pipes. I herd something about puting a cold air intake in, also i wanted to know how to give my car more horse power and speed... ???I dont know anything about what type of parts to use... i would like some good idea on what to use also if there is anything you could think of to make my car better let me know thanks> if you could EMAIL me(
jwoodward789@gmail.com
) i would appreciate it thanks and if you have the time to include a list of where i could find these parts like websites.... THANKS SOOO MUCH

Are you looking to add just a bump in horse power? Or, is this a long term car that you plan on adding a lot of horse power to?

My Eclipse knowledge ends at 1999... sorry.
A cold air intake and exhaust will give you some extra HP, but not much. If you're going to just looking to make it look good and SOUND like its fast, then an intake and exhuast will do you good.

If going N/A, Aftermarket cams will give a pretty ballsy sound with all the intake/exhaust valve overlap.

When it comes to cars, you have three options: Fast, Cheap, and Reliable. And you can only pick two.

Ah! What kinda 3g do you have? If you have the V6 I can help you out. I'm currently running the Ripp Mods supercharger. If you don't know these sites already
www.rippmods.com
and
www.neweclipse.org
check em out. They will be your best friend.
I have an AEM CAI for the V6 and some brand new Eibach springs I will sell.
