Got my new Del Sol radiator in. (pics up)

I'll post pictures tomorrow because it seems that everytime I do work on my car, it's dark and raining.

Pictures: (Just the one for tonight.)
So yeah, I had to drill holes to mount that bracket up top.
Also notice my ingenious styrofoam inserts :P and clever hose modification for the coolant return and overspill.

Been running the hell out of it. Car temps stay normal and I see no leaks. And of course not to mention the weight reduction, shift of weight to passenger side, and more engine bay room. :D

When it comes to cars, you have three options: Fast, Cheap, and Reliable. And you can only pick two.

So I weighed everything out.

Exactly 21 pounds of weight reduction.

21 lbs equals 1/2 of 1/10 of a second in the 1/4 mile.  How do you like that...fractions and more fractions.

aside from the weight reduction what are the benefits?  Able to squeeze a turbo in there now?
To really understand something you must blow it up, and  fully examine the tiny particles while they are still on fire.

That was the main idea. I wanted a tubular exhaust manifold and it wouldn't fit before.

Cool beans man!!!

Now that you have the tubular manifold, you can see that you'll have to shave the block and possibly delete the front motor mount. . .
