2006 STi pictures

These are the first ones I have seen of the new STi look.  Personally I am not a fan of the front at all.  It looks like a d a m n Suzuki Forenza if you ask me.  Anyway, here are the pictures of Subaru's latest hotness.

front end looks like a saab, and a little longer than the previous years. i dont know how i feel about that roof diffuser/spoiler thingy. and the tail lights are horrid. subaru's designs for the imprezza seem to be getting worse and worse.

the front looks like the god awful looking b9 tribeca.  that grill design is supposed to be a link to fuji heavy industries airplane building days.  i don't like the grill or the roof spoiler.  if they got rid of those 2 things i'd be all over it.  right now i'd only drive it because it was an sti, and not because i liked it asthetically

other then the grill i don't mind the front end.  i really like the new headlights.  that rear roof spoiler thing is different.  but maybe it can be taken off or is a dealer option or something.

Too much of a change. I liked the old days when the next generation was just a small change on the headlights.  Like the EVO III to IV, or VI to VII.  Go to the EVO.

I'll respect it more when it is a twin turboed super beast.  For now I would rather buy an '05 STi that doesn't look like the love child of a WRX and a Forenza.  I don't get excited about the looks of the 06 at all.  Oh well...  I guess it's good I'm not in the market for one, eh?  ;D

I hated the look of my suby when I bought it. But with a little help from OEM and aftermarket it looks a TON better. Replace the tail lights and give it a drop and it will look good. The best part will be the performance. Take that thing to the road track and let it run free.
