 Translated:
 Particularly for this model were developed a powerful  front apron with large cooling air inlet, lateral air intakes before  the rear wheel housings and a tail spoiler with outline edge as well  as a powerful diffuser at the Unterboden. Particularly  obviously, but without technical function the intake air channel comes along, which rises as with the formula 1-Rennwagen of the 70's saucily over the tail. All parts are manufactured from carbon fiber and  blocked only at this model.

so basically it's a riced out type R?  It wouldn't look bad if they changed the scoop or reomoved it all together and got rid of that retarded spoiler and put the regular one on

The changes to the JGTC Honda NSX race cars were apparently so fundamental that Honda had to make a certain number of road legal vehicles to comply with the JGTC rules. Only five NSX-R GT models will be made (production will start in August) and all of them had already been sold.

I would bet they did a bit of wind tunnel testing.  If they put it lower, and against the roof I would bet they would get half the air then raising it a few inches...

I love comments about cars like these. A lot of people dont like it but I guarantee if I was driving it to a meet every one would be all over it. :-*

Besides it is all about the driving experience and I bet this would put smiles on every one's face

The scoop isn't for looks as Tyler mentioned, more for performance (I hppe).  But, it does look nice.
