i'm pretty sure 14psi is the stock boost. for first gens at least.

on second gens its 14 on first is 16 that the stock turbo is still gain power but im sure he has a t25 and not a 14b

If only it were so...the wastegate is internally set to 8 psi.

Looks like this thread needs some help.

Stock T25... dont go above 16psi.  Anything above that will creat ALOT of head and loose power

Get a bigger turbo, Big 16G and run around 20-22psi.  Stock engine dont like much more then that.
