Anybody know a good place to get helmets?  You need them at the track when you run faster then a 14 right?

Is a "helmut" like an evil dog?  J/K  it's spelled Helmet  ;)  You can get them at pretty much any dealer for ATV's
To really understand something you must blow it up, and  fully examine the tiny particles while they are still on fire.

no offense SCxMaster, helmets are cheap, I know this from shopping around for one for ATV'n.  If you want something that they'll let you wear, it will more than likely between $100-$200.  And I believe you have to be under or in the low 13's before they'll require you to wear a helmet.

$200 bucks for a good helmet that is Snell 2000 approved is not expensive. Before you can run in any NHRA event it has to have those requirements only if you clock 13.99's or lower.
If you do want a piece of crap helmet that is still Snell 2000 approved then you will still spend about $140. Why not swing an extra $60 bucks and get a nicer one. Just a suggestion.

Btw, Why are you just gonna run twice? All that money you are putting into you car why not show it off and run all season with it?

If I had a bike I would pay that much.  Being in a car I'm not worried about it.  My car isn't going to be THAT fast.

Both my parents are EMT's needless to say, I have seen some "65 mph" crashes.  I don't wear one in my car, but I for sure wear it on my ATV's and sleds.  But it is up to you whether you want a helmet, or a brain bucket.
