Photoshoped MKIV R32 (GTI)
« on: 04:35PM 08/08/2004 »
Messin around with photoshop and the R32.

To list what I changed:
One piece rear, tinted tail lights, tinted windows, lowered, shaved door handles, removed gas cap, and de-badged. Would change the rims but I haven't learned that yet :(
(I think the forum is resizing the image so if it looks distorted, just let me know and i'll send ya the fullsize ones)

Looks good!

Yeah, the foorums resize images to save the template layout.  You can click the link below the image though and it will show you the original file in a new window. :)

Cool. You should photoshop some new rims on there, and maybe change the color.
When it comes to cars, you have three options: Fast, Cheap, and Reliable. And you can only pick two.

Just find a slightly angled picture of a rim, and use the perspective distortion.

You might want to tint the window that is visible in the rear view mirror.  All the little things add up  :)
To really understand something you must blow it up, and  fully examine the tiny particles while they are still on fire.

A little practice with the healing brush and a little more change in reference point while cloning and you'll be set.

I was number one on the list for an R32 April of 2003, but it took too long, and I had too much time to think about how much it was and alternative vehicles...

I think I might just go for an A3 next april, or the new Saab 9-2X or 9-3X  hmmm......

Oh and I'll bet you could do wheels pretty easy, it's easier than most of what you did, just try and work with a wheel no tire and use a layer mask to do the fine tuning after it's positioned.  That way you can get a good soft edge between the stock image tire, and the new wheel.

Atleast that's how I do it :)

NOOOO! they're just toned down WRX's, literally. you can get the a new WRX for less and it will be a lot better.

I don't think it's a toned down WRX, I think it's an improved WRX.  You actually have an interior made out of materials other than cheap plastic ;)  That's the main reason why I never bought a WRX, It seams like a stripped down base model vehicle with a KICK a s s Engine and drive train.  Plus the Saab will be less popular with all the aftermarket of the Subby.  Oh and I just think it's good looking (Of course I think WRX are as well)

I love the STI, but I want a hatch.

Regarding the A3, I've wanted an A3 for ever, but we've never had it here.  Now we will, but a 5 door. and it has the Historic 2.0T in it!!, but so far we're not getting a Quattro model.

Regarding the S4,  I could only get a Used B5, and it would have to be an Avant.  And I really really want to buy a new car for a change. ;)  Of course I have nothing at all against the S4, or owning one.

On topic:
Keep up the photochopping :D

No your doing fine. Replacing rims I think is extremely difficult. Your not alone
