well im gettin ready to put my motor in this weekend, and ive heard that i should drain the gas and put new stuff in before i turn it over, and ive heard that its alright just gas is kinda s h i t t y but just tryin to get some opinions cuz its a full tank of gas and it would be a pain to drain it... just making sure before i got waste 20 bucks on two huge gas cans to put it in....
91 crx hf-sohc and turboed almost done

It depends how long it's been sitting. Gas can collect condensed water over time. But it sound like you don't have anything to worry about. Gas is gas. new or old.
When it comes to cars, you have three options: Fast, Cheap, and Reliable. And you can only pick two.

Octane content can be lost over time from gas sitting, but  I would make the assumption you will be fine, if you're worried put in some octane booster.

Also Gas isn't gas old or new... Try starting a 2 Stroke CR250 w/ 2 year old 91 octane gas ;) (and have it stay running)

If your motor has been out of your car too long you should be fine.  And I'm agreeing with d!ck, trying starting anything with old gas...any carburated car for example.
Don't give up what you want most for what you want now.  It's a matter of priorities.
