Bumpy Ride.
« on: 11:44PM 05/04/2004 »
My car's left rear tire is driving like it is shaped like an egg. Is it possible that the wheels are just off balance? ...I checked the tire and there doesn't seem to be any damage to the rims or anything.

I would guess your camber.  Before I put my camber kits on my rear tires were all over hell.  Along the same line as a result of camber, your tire could be worn to one side and causing the rough ride.  Any uneven wear on your tire(s)?

No mods that would cause this kind of symptom.

check to see if your tire has a bulge in it. sometimes the walls might separate and air will leak into the rubber and make big bulges, which are extremely dangerous to drive on. if it's not that, i'd get an alignment and balance.

You don't have to have a suspension mod for your chamber or toe to be messed up...I had to have the toe adjusted on the teggy this past weekend.  The car would wobble as soon as I got to about 45 mph.

I just pulled the tire off to look around. After I spun the tire I could see that there actully was a bend in the rim. Thatll set me back a few dollars.

Thanks for the help.
