I need to buy a couch

Anyone trying to pawn one off?  I don't care if it's pretty or not.  I'll probably just recover it anyway.  Need one for the new place.

go to the DI, me and my room mate found a good one for about $35.

BTW, i'd suggest the DI in the bountiful/centerville area, their couches seem to have less pee stains, and they have more selection than the other ones we went to.

I was going to do that.  I kind of became hesitant though.  I moved my stuff on Sunday so there wasn't one open and we went to Savers down in SLC and there was nothing but ghetto ones for a kagillion dollars.  I'll just have to hit up the DI over the weekend.

When James and I were in college we got a couch from the DI while we lived in the dorms at the U of U - that's where everyone got there couches.

I have a 70's looking couch that I need to get rid of to make room for my tight a s s chair coming in the next few weeks.  I'm not selling it though, I'm giving it away since I got it free myself.  It isn't in the greatest condition but it is really comfortable and pretty clean.  If you want a pic let me know.

Hmmm, I thought this thread would've died already.  Damon contacted me and asked about the couch so I have to give it to him, sorry.  :D  This couch has a history behind it too.  It's been in the Aviano AB dorms in Italy, been thrown off 3 stories at the dorms, been with me for about 5 years, and now it's in the states being ready to go to it's new owner.  It was my first couch so I'll have to pass the torch to someone else now.  :'(  I do have a better one for sale if anyone is interested.  :D  

By the way, yes I am a new member.  About two weekends ago I ran into a silver Jetta 1.8T and a red GTI 2.0 on washington blvd.  I ended up talking with them and the guy with the GTI (I didn't get their names) gave me the Elite Rides card and told me to check out this site.  So I did and here I am.  I own a silver 2001 VW GTI 1.8T, slightly modded.  So be on the lookout for me.  :D
