Aight sucka's... need some ideas  ;D

I'm thinking about hooking up a few ER members throughout this year's race season.  I'm down for "sponsoring" a few member's race entry fees, and even paying the way for a few members entry fees if you're just interested in watching instead.  No definates on how many or how often but, I'm thinking I'll do it atleast a few times over the months.

Here's what I need ideas for.  How could we make it a fair "game of chance" for who can win?  I'm thinking like whoever makes the most legitimate posts between two designated dates.  No post whoring of course so if other members called you on it you lose  :P  Maybe the newest member with the most posts by a certain date?  Maybe we could have people post a few pics of their rides and other members could vote on who would represent ER the best down at the track, etc.

You guys tell me... you're the ones that can win, not me.  ;)

I like the idea of posting pics and then having them list the mods on their car and having people vote on who would represent ER the best.

FYI the new Sport compact Street Legal Series has a 12.99 minimum for entry.  If you were interested in having a presence there, it's something to keep in mind when selecting a car.

I'll probably only be racing a few times and maybe watching a few times but I'm down for free entry!  Maybe some kind of drawing too.  Especially for the free entry.

Also I'm not sure how aware you guys are of the new proposed changes at RMR.  They are now running a 1/8 mile Midnight Drag event rather than the 1/4 mile.  Too lazy right now to link anything or what ever but there is 2 stickys about it on *coughslcsrcough*

If you are going to sponsor a car or someone to race...you should also make sure it is a little bit fast, not some stock car IMO.
The 1/8 mile, is that a definite or just a rumor.

there are already talks of something like that.

it seems kinda stupid that RMR supposedly wants to get racers off the streets (in exchange for lots of $$$) but they're just driving us all back onto the streets with their stupid little marketing gimmicks.

they're doing the 1/8th mile races so they can get people moving faster (although i dont know how unless they start racing 1/2 way down the track ???) and allow more people to race.
They tell you shadows are the place to hide, but listen: No one looks into the sun.

Yeah and there reasoning for the new change is to give it more of a street feel like racing from light to light. Why if there trying to get kids off the street woudl they immitate street conditions. The point of going to RMR is to feel the rush of the 1/4 mile. I will not go to any of the RMR races unless im really bored
