Day-of registration will take place until 7pm. Registered show cars are encouraged to show up no later than 8pm.

Yea for sure. Too bad not at Barnes park again lol that's like 2 mi from my house. But yea I should be there. Once it gets closer to show time hook me up with some flyers and I'll get 'em out. Possibly too if you have ER flyers there are some cars at WSU that I'd drop 'em off on if I had any.

I personally think we arent going to have any troubles... As far as everyone I know (that knows about ER) they are cool with everyone. ER has developed itself well enough to where it's not choosing sides or gangs or something. It's a general public rather than "regulate" which was more of a group than store. So I feel ER's shows will always succeed as long as they keep a neutral state. (Just my two cents)

I think having an award for team representation would be cool Team-Integra would represent for sure. I see you've decided to forgo the 'cleanest car' award since we all know I'd take that one.

Last year there were 40'ish cars that entered, with minimal advertising. My guess would 50-100 cars entering and a few hundred people checking it out.

Ill be writing on my car with info when we go to the vard and state....damon I have a idea for that too... If we all park in one lot... but then have tons of cars on the side of the street.... saying pull in and give them flyers and stuff. I dunno thats just one more thing we could do...

It's a good idea though. That would definately be cool to get some more girls involved.

Attached is a file for 6 per sheet style fliers promoting the show if anyone is interested in tossing out a few at upcoming events. I'm going to print off a bunch so anyone out with me can just snag some.

Damon I'm gonna be in Salt Lake again tonight so I'll take a bunch of them. I saw some guys advertising for a show once by sitting at Dennys in Ogden and handing out flyers to everyone that turned around in there. And I see all kinds of nice cars parked in the Dee Events Center at Weber State. I'll be very willing to pass out 100+ flyers.

What other things would you guys like to see/have at the show? I am going to make some more turntable mixed cd's to run in the background, even considering getting some of the guys from the station down to run the mic/music during the day. Working with another guy I know that runs an extreme sport videography business. He has mad hookups on moto-x/bmx people. Might hook that up and have a little show from them too. I don't know if Best Buy would be down but, just throwing out ideas. What else should be added to the show entertainment-wise or anything...

I don't think it was so much that they were ugly or something. They didn't move and nobody talked to them... they weren't even involved with the show... maybe it'd be better now that there will be more cars... more people will possibly be wanting a girl to model their vehicle for pictures.... I don't know just my thoughts

i just thought of this, i dont know if its already been suggested, but i think it would be pretty cool the winners of the different classes had pictures of their cars taken with a model and posted on the website. and they could get a plaque with the picture too, or something like that.

Well if you have models there then you need guy models too. However, guy models all seem to be gay.

Models would be okay but I wouldn't invite the A-List Bikini Team. None of them presented themselves well.

The pictures is a good idea. I'll see what I can swing. Plaques (engraving) gets kinda' pricey though. If we get hooked up with someone to go in on sponsoring them though that might be cool.

if youre looking for some sponsorship you could maybe have some shop sections, like a shop showcase section where the different local shops can show off what cars they've built. they could have banners up and hand out cards in return for them sponsoring the trophies and events.

Tropheys usually run cheaper than plaques. You could always just do some nice certificates too. Those are easy to make.

This year's show will take place in the lot of the new Best Buy in Murray, Utah just East off the 5300 South exit of I-15. It will be on Sunday, July 18, 2004. Scheduled judging will start at 12 Noon and the show will wrap up at 4pm.

The Best Buy is a new facility and parking lot. They have a few little trees on North side of the parking lot. The good thing about shade is that there are other various building structures in the parking lot that will provide some with their height. Plus, if you want to go look at some gadgets inside Best Buy is air temp controlled. There is also restaurants in the lot like Carls Jr. So, no heat stroke or dehydration this year.

Aside from whatever space we need for parking entries vehicles we will also be allowed to use the entire row of parking spots immediately parallel with State Street. This should draw additional traffic.

Categories will most likely consist of the same as last year:

- Best Of Show
- Best Import, 1st and 2nd
- Best Domestic, 1st and 2nd
- Best Full Size/SUV, 1st and 2nd
- Best Mini Truck, 1st and 2nd

I will post all updates in this thread. I will also be posting a map here soon.

I plan on pushing this show a lot more than last year. If anyone is interested in helping me with promoting the event let me know. I will also be going to a few events to get the word out (I.E. Logan Cruz-In, Vegas/St. George in April, etc.) and anyone else is welcome to head out with me.
