Anyone going to GT Live this year?

June 28th and 29th at MMP, 25 bucks per day or 40 for the weekend. Free unlimted go-carts, free SCCA track time, and of course lots of badass racing! Tons of other stuff going on too, go read on MMP's page or the GT Live page for more details.

Also, if any of you wanna register for utahnissans, cobb, Utah Hondas, Toyota Fest, etc. go to http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/festivals/registration.html and fill out that little form, it's like 6 questions is all lol. No obligation so I you can't make it no biggie so might as well sign up even if you're a maybe so you ahve a spot. Last yr these groups got ot park right behind the stands/pit garages in they own little parking spaces and some had BBQ's and free s h i t to hand out, plus it makes for some epic photo ops! lol.

Yeah I'll be there too seeing how I set everything up for UtahHondas.  But as pearl jammzz said if your already planning on attending GT Live and own a Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Subaru, or Evo its worth it to sign up for the fan festivals and park your car safely inside MMP on the paddock instead of out in the parking lot.  The fan festivals are free in addition to the price of a general admission ticket. 

I don't know what the other Fan Festivals have planned.  But as far as the UtahHondas festival goes for those who regester with us gets to park on the Paddock instead of being out in the parking lot, Free SCCA autocross, UH has 1 hour reserved on the Kart Track for free Go Karting.  This is only avalible for those who regester as part of the fan festival.  (Free Karting is avalible all day too.  We just get the track to ourselves for an hour), and we are also working on a Free BBQ for those who regester for the Fan Festival.

So come out and enjoy a day at the track.  GT Live is awesome and worth the drive and money.

That's the same thing we're doing for ToyotaFest, it's going to be a blast so if you don't own a car that fits into one of those categories, go buy a new one so you can. It's gunna be epic.

I don't see why they wouldn't, they did last year and it wasn't a hugely talked-about event. I have heard nothing official either way though...

I actually emailed steve last night about the parade laps.  He is the person I have been working with about the GT Live stuff.  This is what he responded with in his email:

"Parade laps are a rumor. Unfortunately there is not enough track time to
accommodate all of the clubs and all of the additional stuff happening this
year."

So the Parade lap is just a rumor.  It isn't happening this year.  Sorry.  I also asked him about BBQ's and he said that MMP is being more strict on that this year.  He is checking in to it though and is going to let me know once he hears back from MMP.

Well f u c k, im all bent out of shape! Went up toi pick up my 2 today and the accountant wasnt there so i couldnt get it today. Then i decide i want to go look at the finished product and everything loked sexy as hell till you get close the lights were of in the building and i could still see the improfections. Then i move to front of the car and the front bumper is pushed in under the head light on the p/s and a half in gap on the d/s  i was like "f u c k"! right there in the school. I going to tell that little b i t c h that worked on it to fix that s h i t in two weeks. you had my car since January it time you finish it and finish it right!

Just venting guys   i wasted a half day for nothing and i expected it to be somewhat of a 5 foot paint job but with that front bumper its a 20 foot.

I really hope they let us do the BBQ's at least, but I am guessing MMP wants ppl to buy their 6 dollar hot dogs and 8 dollar hamburgers...
